Samuel Karpel, Esq.

Samuel Karpel is an attorney with experience representing healthcare clients in a wide range of legal matters. Mr. Karpel counsels healthcare clients regarding compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy Rule and Security Rule and the regulatory landscape that healthcare entities must navigate. In addition, Mr. Karpel negotiates and drafts contracts on behalf of healthcare clients, including contracts for services and business associate agreements.

Mr. Karpel also represents healthcare clients in addressing and resolving, whether through negotiation or litigation, disputes that may arise in the course of a healthcare client’s day-to-day business and operation. Furthermore, Mr. Karpel has extensive experience representing businesses that are not healthcare related in litigation matters, including cases involving breach of contract, partnership disputes, and business torts.

Mr. Karpel understands the complexities of a healthcare client’s business and offers AXO the benefit of his experience and insight.

Mr. Karpel is a member of the law firm of Zilberberg Einhorn Karpel, P.C. He is admitted to practice law in state and federal courts in New York and Massachusetts, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Karpel obtained a B.A. in 2003 from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and obtained a J.D. in 2006 from New England School of Law in Boston.

Bruno de Vinck

Mr. de Vinck was the sixth employee of the predecessor of what is now known as The Lightstone Group. He grew with and within the fledgling company and became the Senior Vice President of The Lightstone Group which company and its affiliated REITS owns or controls a multibillion dollar – multi state portfolios of hotels, residential, office and industrial properties.

Since semi-retirement in 2013, Mr. de Vinck is a consultant to four Lightstone REITS.

Mr. de Vinck has a keen and well developed understanding of revenue cycle management, process flow, and optimization of quality control. His achievements at The Lightstone Group demonstrate his ability to offer insight in differentiation from competition, delivering a better product and service and meeting or exceeding client expectations.

Mr. de Vinck attended Pratt Institute for two years studying architecture. In 1981, he received the professional designation of Certified Property Manager (CPM) from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). In 1988, he was chapter president for New Jersey. That same year, he was also a director of the New Jersey Association of Realtors (NJAR). He is also the chairman of the board of Masthope Mountain Community.

Vinod Sankaran

Mr. Sankaran’s education, experience and passion drive him to optimize process flow, revenue cycle management and resultant profitability within the healthcare sector.

The dual Masters degrees in Quantitative Finance and Industrial Engineering that he received from Oklahoma State University as well as extensive experience and achievements within the healthcare arena allow him to offer demonstrable economic benefit, enhancing medical practices’ revenue cycle management and profitability.

As a financial analyst and director of operations in his previous positions, Mr. Sankaran achieved and surpassed the objectives as a Senior Vice President at Acrologic Business Solutions. In that position, he was tasked with controlling client acquisition costs, ensuring that operations were optimized and comported to the company’s regulatory framework, as well as driving increased revenue and profitability.

From 2005-2009, Mr. Sankaran served as a Director of Operations at One World United (OWU), an organization offering healthcare solutions to corporations and individuals seeking medical treatment abroad. In addition, during the years 2004-2005, he worked as a Senior Financial Analyst for Sprint, where he was honored with the “2005 Sprint Excellence Award” and earned the distinction of “Most Effective Employee.”

Herb Olitsky

In 1993, Mr. Olitsky founded Herb Olitsky Consulting Services Inc, known as HOCS Inc., to support computer hardware and software. From a fledgling company, HOCS Inc. currently provides IT consulting and services to almost 1,000 clients, which include over 300 skilled nursing facilities as well as numerous home care agencies.

Mr. Olitsky provides invaluable insight with respect to data and network security as his company operates within the regulatory framework of HIPAA HITECH, and provides advice and support to healthcare organizations in need of security, breach protection, formal protocols, backup systems and redundancy.

He received his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Temple University, and has since been at the forefront of the ongoing and rapidly changing computer science, privacy and regulatory arenas.
